How long have you been a member at Steel Fox and why did you join?
I have been a member since July and the reason I joined was to get in the best shape I could possibly be. I was overweight had high blood pressure and cholesterol and I wanted to look and feel better. I used to work out 5 days a week but then you get married and have a child and you get side tracked. I needed to see results quickly to keep me motivated to come back every week.
What classes do you usually attend?
I attend Steel Fit Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. I started with 2 but I knew that wouldn’t get me to where I wanted to be.
What do you like to do outside of Steel Fox?
I’m an avid skier so all the leg and core work we do will come in handy. I also love supporting my son’s sporting aspirations.
What is something we might not know about you?
I’m a proud parent of an adopted son and a license foster parent.
What is your favorite movement?
Squats, It such a good movement for the whole body.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
I think my greatest accomplishment is sticking to the workouts and pushing myself. I hear Rita and Ryan in my head to add weight when I’m tired but I know I want the best possible work out and taking the easy route won’t get me there.
What is one long term goal and one short term goal?
Long term: One of my goals is to get in good enough shape to play in a men’s over 40 lacrosse league.
Short term: Start eating better to match my intense workouts for a better overall outcome.
What motivates and inspires you?
I’m Inspired by my Family, I would like to live a s long as possible to enjoy time with them.
