What Is CrossFit?
Founded in 1995, CrossFit is a group oriented strength and conditioning system built on constantly varied functional movements executed at your relative intensity. Starting with 18 gyms in 1995 and now 10 years later there are over 10,000 worldwide. CrossFit combines weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio in ways you never thought possible. It focuses on the 10 fitness domains: cardiovascular, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, accuracy, and balance. The WOD (workout of the day) is always different and at Steel Fox CrossFit we have a clearly defined level system created to meet the needs of any human being, regardless of age, and ability.
CrossFit Class Breakdown
All classes run 1 hour and will be broken up into segments: warm-up, skill or strength, WOD, and cool down. You will have an instructor demo all movements and they will there to guide you through the class.
